Childhood Psychopathology
PSYC 272 SP

This course provides an overview of the various mental disturbances in childhood, including attention deficit disorder, conduct disorder, autism, anxiety, schizophrenia, and depression. The contributions of psychological, biological, family, and sociocultural factors to the development of childhood psychopathology will be discussed. Recent research in the areas of assessment and diagnosis, prevention, and treatment will be presented.
