Developmental Psychology

This course is an introduction to behavior and psychological development in infancy, childhood, and adolescence. We will examine theory and research pertaining to personality, social, and cognitive development, with emphasis on cognitive development.

MAJOR READINGS

Berk, Laura (2003) CHILD DEVELOPMENT (6th Ed.)
and selected articles/chapters in a reading packet.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

A short paper (7-8 pages), a mid-term exam, and a final.
