Advanced Seminar in German Literature
GERM 301 SP

This course offers German majors and other interested students an opportunity to explore a significant topic in German literature within a chronological context. The topic for 2005/2006 is the role of religion and other belief systems within a historical, political, and social context.

Weekly entries in a reading diary, to be corrected and resubmitted; oral presentations; final examination.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Regular attendance and participation in class discussion required. This course is not recommended for students who have not yet studied or lived in a German-speaking country. It is required of all German Studies majors.
