Writing About Places
ENGL 131 SP
This course will explore the long tradition of writing about travel and places and changing attitudes toward crossing cultural borders. Readings will focus largely on the writings of 20th-century travelers. Writing
assignments
will include critical and analytical essays and will encourage students to examine their own experiences with places and cultural encounters.
