Senior Seminar
E&ES 397 FA

This is a seminar course for E&ES seniors and covers the evolution of the earth within a broad context. Students will read, discuss, and write about common large-scale themes in Earth and Environmental Sciences. Special emphasis will be placed on topics that relate to E&ES Senior Seminar Field course.

MAJOR READINGS

Readings will consist of seminal papers, review articles, and selected book chapters.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Grades will be based upon presentations, written reviews, and class participation.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

E&ES 398 is an optional field course that will occur during January following this course. Students electing to take the field course will register for E&ES 398 in the following Spring Semester.
