Economic Growth
ECON 349 FA

The course will examine the sources and consequences of long-run economic growth. The course will begin with theoretical models from the neo-classical growth model to new growth theory and critically examine the assumptions and conclusions. The course will also examine the historical record on long-run economic growth and the reasons for variation across countries.
