Jazz Dance II

The course will start at the big band era and swing dancing, then travel through to what could be considered modern jazz today. Emphasis will be placed on rhythms, style and the intercultural influences on movement.

Participation in "Worlds of Dance Concert"

Previous dance experience required. Audition at first class. Please come to first class ready to dance. Professor will not be available until first class and at that time will meet with accepted students and electronically enroll them into this course.
