Scientific Research and Ethics
CHEM 120 SP

Ethical questions encountered in conducting scientific research are becoming topics of increasing scrutiny by both scientists and nonscientists. The focus of the course will be an examination of ethical issues that arise in the conduct of scientific research through case studies and readings from the scientific literature.

Current scientific literature and related press accounts.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Evaluation will be based on participation in class discussions and weekly written assignments.
