Developmental Neurobiology

This course will deal with development of the central nervous system in vertebrates and invertebrates. The course will highlight recent achievements in understanding neural development at the molecular, cellular, and systems levels. Specific examples will be taken from research on sensory systems.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Midterm exam, paper, poster session, oral presentation and weekly problem sets.

If student has not had a course in neurobiology or developmental biology, he/she should consult with instructor before enrolling.
