Principles of Biology II--Laboratory

This laboratory course, designed to be taken concurrently with BIOL182 or MB&B182, will introduce students to experimental design, laboratory methods, data analysis, and empirical approaches to developmental biology, physiology, ecology and evolution. Laboratory exercises use the techniques of electrophysiology, microscopy, computer simulations, and analyses of DNA sequence data.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Weekly participation and lab noteboook. Bi-weekly laboratory write-ups.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Three hours of laboratory per week. Section will be subdivided into smaller sub-groups of 10-15 students each. Students must sign up for BIOL182 and BIOL192 separately.
