Museum Studies
ARHA 360 SP
This museum studies seminar will examine the style, technique and condition of individual works of art. Direct analysis of the art object is essential to this class, which will incorporate weekly sessions in the Davison
Art Center Print Room. Students will undertake independent projects based on the collection of the Davison Art Center Print Room and write catalog entries and exhibition labels.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Short exhibition labels, 2 catalog entries (2-3 pages each) on individual works of art and an 8-10 page paper

This is a museum studies seminar focusing on curatorial methods and exhibition development.
