Queer Kids

This course will examine representations of queer kids in American Culture. The texts will be stories, novels, critical essays, and films. We will consider the topics of childhood, sexuality, and homophobia as they influence the lived experience, the cultural perception, and the portrayal of non-heterosexual children.
