Plays for Performance
THEA 150 SP
This course is intended for first-year students who plan to be involved in the theater program. It is aimed to provide a common frame of reference in the frequently revived plays, from the ancient Greeks to the present.
Approximately 18 or more plays will be read; scenes from many of them will be read aloud in class time, and a certain amount of time will be devoted to lecture about and discussion of the works considered. There will be
assignments
in writing for and about theater.
