Academic Year 2004/2005
Women, Health and Technology
SOC 227 SP
What is it like for women physicians today? What are the politics of the delivery of health care to women? Has beauty become a health issue? Can women physicians make a difference in the way health care is delivered to
women
patients? What is the relationship between the work women do and the illnesses they get? What role does medical technology play in the health care women receive today? In this course we will explore the relationship
