Aerobics, Beginning
PHED 114 SP

This course may be repeated for credit.

The course is designed to introduce the concept of aerobic exercise enhancing total fitness for the individual. The activity is paced for the beginning student with modifications of low impact exercise and is structured to develop the understanding of proper body alignment during exercise. Activity includes work on cardiovascular system, flexibility, strength and endurance.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

While there are no major readings or examinations, attendance is required in all activity classes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Attendance required. THE FIRST CLASS IN EACH QUARTER WILL MEET IN THE FREEMAN ATHLETIC CENTER CLASSROOM. 3rd quarter - 1 section - 114.01 - January 23 - March 7.
