First-Year Greek, Semester I
GRK 101 FA
This course is an introduction to the ancient Greek language. Students will begin to learn the grammar and syntax of the language and start developing the rich vocabulary necessary to appreciate and understand Greek.
We
shall immediately begin to read continuous, short passages of Greek. This course is a prerequisite for GRK 102.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Daily exercises in grammar, vocabulary and morphology. Weekly quizzes, midterm and final exam.

Consistent attendance and prepared, regular class participation are mandatory.
