Senior Seminar
E&ES 397 FA

This is a seminar course for E&ES seniors and covers the evolution of the earth within a broad context. Students will read, discuss, and write about common large-scale themes in Earth and Environmental Sciences. Special emphasis will be placed on topics that relate to E&ES Senior Seminar Field course.

MAJOR READINGS

Readings will consist of seminal papers, review articles, and selected book chapters.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Grades will be based upon class participation, presentations, written reviews, and exams.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

E&ES398 Senior Seminar must be taken in the following spring semester. The Field course will occur during the following January of this course.
