The acquisition, processing and interpretation of remotely sensed images and their application to geologic and environmental problems. Emphasis is on understanding the composition and evolution of Earth and planetary surfaces using a variety of remote sensing techniques. Comparison of orbital datasets to ground truth will be accessed for the earth in order to better interpret data for the planets.
