Environmental and Resource Economics
ECON 310 FA
This course features an analytical study of the major theoretical and applied issues of environmental economics and resource management. Topics will include the fundamental underpinnings of externalities, alternative
control
strategies, uncertainties, long-term environmental concerns and resource utilization across a finite globe. Applications will be gleaned from a vast array of issues including clean air and water legislation, acid rain,
carbon
dioxide and chlorofluorocarbons, global warming and other global environmental change phenomena.
