Improvisational Forms
DANC 354 SP
This class is designed to explore various approaches to dance improvisation. Students will expand movement vocabulary, increase compositional awareness, develop their creative thinking and observational skills, and
sharpen
their performance presence. Material covered will include improvisation exercises, contact improvisation, structured improvisational forms and exploration of the relationship between sound and movement.

Written assignments, movement assignments, projects, performance and attendance at dance concerts.
