Tap Dance I
DANC 204 FA
This course may be repeated for credit.
In this technique course for intermediate beginners, students will learn the fundamentals of American tap dance. Emphasis will be placed on mastering specific tap exercises, short dance routines and basic tap
terminology.
MAJOR READINGS
Selected articles.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Students will participate in the Worlds of Dance Concert.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Placement in this course is by audition at the first class. After first class Professor Davison will be able to add students into this course during the Drop/Add period. Professor Davidson will be on campus
Tuesdays/Thursdays at 247 Pine St., Schonberg
Dance Studio. She also has an office at the Center for African American Studies, ext. 3578.
