This course is part 2 of a 2-part course. In this course, students learn about community psychology through readings, discussion, and direct experience. Subtopics include community development and organizing, ecological theory, prevention and intervention, identity-based oppression and discrimination, and social capital. Direct experience involves working in the Middletown community.
