This course in classical mechanics is for well-prepared students who believe that the general physics course PHYS113 is too similar in level to their high school course and who would prefer a review of classical
mechanics
that is rigorous and mathematically sophisticated. Be ready to use calculus and vector analysis.

D. Kleppner & R.J. Kolenkow, AN INTRODUCTION TO MECHANICS
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Weekly problem sets, a "piece-meal take home" exam, and a final exam.
