Swimming, Beginning

This course may be repeated for credit.
The course objective is to equip individuals with basic water safety skills and knowledge in order to make them reasonably safe while in, on or about the water. We will introduce skills designed to improve stamina and
basic
coordination and increase individual aquatic abilities.
MAJOR READINGS
While there are no major readings or examinations, attendance is required in all activity classes.

Attendance required. THE FIRST CLASS IN EACH QUARTER WILL MEET IN THE FREEMAN ATHLETIC CENTER CLASSROOM.
