Elementary Korean I
LANG 153 FA
Required Sequence: LANG153 & LANG154.
Elementary Korean is offered as a year long course which will introduce students to written and spoken Korean. Taught with the help of a native-speaker instructor, the course is useful to students who may have spoken
Korean
at home as well as to those students who have no previous experience with this language.

Students interested in learning Korean should contact Professor Cho Hargrave to discuss their background and level of previous experience with her so that they can be placed in the appropriate level of instruction.
Students with no background in the
language are welcome, as are those who have learned some Korean informally or through other programs.
