Advanced Seminar in German Literature

This course offers German majors and other interested students an opportunity to explore a significant topic in German literature within a chronological context. The topic for 2003-2004 is the portrayal of power relationships in the domestic, social, and political realms.

Weekly entries in a reading diary, to be corrected and resubmitted; oral presentations; final examination.

Regular attendance and participation in class discussion required. This course is not recommended for students who have not yet studied or lived in a German-speaking country. It is required of all German Studies majors.
