Required Sequence: FREN111 & FREN112

The fourth semester of our language program features an intensive review of basic grammar points that frequently cause problems. A variety of readings will introduce contemporary literature and serve as a springboard to conversation. Videos and/or movies will be shown to develop students' listening skills.

Weekly writing assignments and quizzes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Students are expected to spend up to three hours a week viewing videos outside of class. Students are required to attend one T.A. session a week (one hour). This course is intended for students who have completed FREN111 with a grade of B or better or have placed into FREN 112 through the placement test. Students who have not done so should consult with the professor before preregistering. Students who are not accepted through preregistration are strongly encouraged to register during the Drop/Add period.
