MAJOR READINGS
You¿ll read my weekly essay on writing dialog, use of detail and other major aspects of fiction writing. In addition to reading and discussing others¿ work online, you¿ll be expected to read and post critiques to a
class mailing list about the before
the group discussion. Don¿t worry; you¿ll have plenty of technical support.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
You'll write between five and eight pages weekly, turned in on an absolute deadline schedule as real-time workshop discussions will center on your work. Prepare and post careful notes on each week's stories to *wes
before the weekly group meeting.

Online interviews for this course must be scheduled BEFORE THE COMPUTERS OPEN IN APRIL FOR PRE-REGISTRATION. Mail to storyfirst@wesleyan.edu for appointment. Include a sample of your fiction.
