Responsive Writing
ENGL 103 SP
This writing course for students interested in reading and thinking offers practice in the writing of prose forms such as arguments, journals, fables, letters, interviews, in response to a variety of readings.
MAJOR READINGS
James Baldwin, Leah Cohen, Annie Dillard, Etty Hillesum, Arthur Zajonc.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
In addition to writing weekly papers, students will keep a writer's notebook to be collected periodically for evaluation and comments.
