Econometrics
ECON 385 SP
Econometrics is the study of statistical techniques for analyzing economic data. The course reviews and extends regression procedures. Students work on individual research projects and learn to use econometric software
packages on personal computers.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Regular problem sets, a mid-term exam, a final and a term paper applying econometric techniques to an economic problem of interest to the student.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Students who have completed ECON310 may not receive credit for ECON385.
Students will use statistical computer programs in the PAC data lab.
