Corporate Finance and Managerial Control
ECON 229 SP
This course offers an introduction to accounting and business decisions: balance sheets, income statements, and sources and uses of funds; capital budgeting; cost of capital; the link between accounting records and
economic
analysis. Emphasis is placed on the uses of present-value techniques.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Hour test, quizzes, final examination as scheduled by the registrar, project and frequent problem sets. Answers to problem sets will often be discussed in class.
