Health Care Economics
ECON 208 SP

Significance of the health care industry in the U.S. economy, including such issues as the financing of health care, medical malpractice, managed competition, how to define quality in the delivery of medical care and the Oregon experiment in rationing, will be covered. Particular emphasis will be placed on analyzing the Clinton health plan.

MAJOR READINGS
