This course may be repeated for credit.
Building on the beginning course DANC260, advanced dances from West Africa in their social, cultural, and religious contexts will be taught through studio work, lecture, reading and video.

Students will be expected to perform in the West African Drumming and Dance Concert. Students should come to the first class with drop/add form and notify instructor prior to first class for permission.
