The Politics of International Economic Relations, Part II
CSS 426 SP

This sequence in the junior tutorial covers some of the major issues in international political economy today: trade, monetary relations, the environment, underdevelopment, and globalization. International economic relations will be studied in light of domestic and international political forces. Political economy constructs will be subject to critical analysis primarily through competing theoretical perspectives and historical background. The principal theoretical visions that will inform the analysis will be Liberalism, Mercantilism and Marxism.
