Greek History
CCIV 231 FA
Using primary sources wherever possible, this course will examine the development of Greek civilization from Mycenaean times through the death of Alexander the Great. Special attention will be given to the connection
between
political events and cultural and intellectual trends. No prior acquaintance with ancient history is required.

Thucydides, PELOPONNESIAN WAR
Aristophanes, WASPS
