Mammalian Development
BIOL 520 FA

This seminar course will begin with an overview of early mammalian embryogenesis and then focus on current topics in the field, including cell lineage-determining genes, transgenic mice, gene targeting to generate mutant mice, disease models and stem cells.

Class presentation plus paper or exam.

Permission to enroll in this course will be granted to those undergraduates who have completed BIOL205 and BIOL206. The course will be held once a week.
