Gogol's "Dead Souls"
RUSS 253 SP
Close reading of Gogol's 1842 novel MERTYVE DUSHI (DEAD SOULS) with particular attention to Gogol's peculiarities of style and lexicon. If time permits, we will also read non-fictional works by Gogol.
