Religion and South African Society
RELI 282 FA
The main focus of critical examination in this seminar is Christianity (black and white) in South Africa, with attention to traditional African religions and perhaps a non-African scene. Topics include the culture of
African peoples, motives and
responses to missions, and Christianity and apartheid. Current religious and social issues in the new South Africa are emphasized.
