Psychological Statistics Computer Laboratory
PSYC 214 FA

Students will learn to analyze data using a statistical package. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics will both be covered.

MAJOR READINGS

Kirkpatrick, L.A. and Feeney, B.C. (2000), A Simple Guide to SPSS for Windows. Belmont, CA: Wadsworth Thomson Learning.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

There will be weekly lab assignments and a final lab project.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

This course must be taken concurrently with PSYC 201. PERMISSION OF INSTRUCTOR FORMS WILL NOT BE DISTRIBUTED. THIS COURSE WILL BE ADDED DURING DROP/ADD ONLY, during classtime in PSYC201. Students can only be enrolled in this course once they have successfully registered for PSYC201. All sections of PSYC214 will meet on Mondays. Specific times will be announced during the first meeting of PSYC201.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
