Electricity and Magnetism
PHYS 224 SP

Basic laws of electricity and magnetism including dielectric and magnetic materials are studied, as are development of Maxwell's equations in differential form. Special relativity is used to point out the deeper connections between electricity and magnetism.

Students who have taken PHYS215/PHYS217 but NOT PHYS116 may enroll with permission of the instructor.
