Swimming, Beginning
PHED 120 SP
The course objective is to equip individuals with basic water safety skills and knowledge in order to make them reasonably safe while in, on or about the water. We will introduce skills designed to improve stamina and
basic coordination and increase
individual aquatic abilities.
MAJOR READINGS
While there are no major readings or examinations, attendance is required in all activity classes.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Attendance required. First class of each quarter will meet at Freeman Athletic Center classroom. 3rd quarter - 1 section - 120.01 - January 23 - March 8.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
