Biochemical Basis of Pharmaceuticals

The fundamental concepts underlying the mechanism of action of drugs. The topics provide some of the best applications of the fundamentals of biochemistry. This course is an ideal introduction to medicine for
pre-medical students. Organic chemistry is
a prerequisite. Students are advised to have had biochemistry or take it concurrently, but it is not a requirement.
