Microbial Pathogenicity

This half-semester course will focus on new concepts of the molecular and genetic basis of microbial pathogenicity. It will emphasize bacterial and protozoan pathogens.

This is a half semester course, offered in the second half of the spring semester starting on Monday, March 26. Students will have 5 days after the first day to add this course.

MAJOR READINGS

Articles and reviews from the current scientific literature.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

There will be one examination and a final.

Participation in class discussion will be expected from all students.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
