Principles of Biology I--Laboratory

This laboratory course, to be taken concurrently with MB&B205 or BIOL205, provides direct experience with techniques used in cell biology and genetic research. These include phase contrast microscopy, spectrophotometry, enzyme assays, mutagenesis and electrophoresis.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Three hours of laboratory per week; lab sections, limited to 16 students each, will be scheduled several afternoons and evenings each week.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
