Multivariable Calculus
MATH 222 FA

This is a course on the differential and integral calculus of functions of several real variables. Among the areas covered are scalar- and vector-valued functions of several variables and their derivatives; chain rule; maxima, minima and saddle points; Lagrange's multipliers; integration of functions of several variables; Green's theorem; surface integrals; Stokes's theorem; divergence theorem. This course will have special emphasis on developing geometric intuition.
