This seminar will base its exploration of Middle East politics through the prism of leadership. The conceptual framework is designed not only to expose students to critical tools of comparative analysis (i.e., elites, masses, ideology, behavior) but also to provide a survey of domestic/international issues related to the Middle East.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
