Intermediate German
GERM 211 FA
This course follows GERM101 & 102 or 105. It provides a thorough grammar review accompanied by readings in contemporary literary and nonliterary texts. Students will also work regularly with video and audio materials.
MAJOR READINGS
Literary texts and other materials as described above. A review grammar.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Regular grammar exercises. Frequent tests, short writing assignments. Performance of skits. Final examination.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Regular attendance essential. One additional class hour per week is provided by lengthening class sessions. Please allow for these longer-than-standard classes when planning your schedule.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
