Advanced Filmmaking
FILM 457 SP

This workshop is designed for senior film majors who, having successfully completed the Sight and Sound Workshop, are prepared to undertake an individual or small team project. Because of space and hardware, the number of projects that can be approved is limited. Students must petition for enrollment by proposal. Production cost are borne by the student.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Written proposal, short film script, project completion, final paper.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Enrollment limited to senior film majors. Requirement ARFS450 and project approval. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE COURSE FEE HAS INCREASED-- Lab fee: $135.00. Projects normally require two semesters of work. Permission of instructor required.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
