Crosslistings: AMST 330 |
A history of the American crime story, beginning in the antebellum era and concluding with the present day. We will consider the literary and political significance of the genre, placing texts in their historical contexts and discussing the ways they have commented on the dynamics of American society.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
