A workshop in writing book reviews and an examination of the ways in which literary merit is assigned in our culture. Students will learn to write reviews and will study the purpose, contexts, and dynamics of book reviewing and literary prizes.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
